V Competition “Posem Fil a l’Agulla”. Deadline ends. More than 200 participants!
     

The 15th December was the final date to present manuscripts for the V Short Stories Competition, “Posem Fil a l’Agulla”. Unfortunately this year we have taken longer than usual to reply to participants to confirm receipt due to the large amount of work built up at the end of the year and also because of the enormous number of entries. In total we have received 226 short stories, 29 more than in 2007. This means that “Posem Fil a l’Agulla” is consolidating itself as one of the most popular events in short works of

  Catalan literature. During January, the first selection of manuscripts will take place and we hope to be able to issue the results before the end of the first month of 2009. However, if the selection is not unanimous we will extend the period for making a decision until 15th February.
